Supervising a construction site is often not a top priority. Yet losses are estimated to reach in excess of £1 million pounds each week. With a high staff turnover and expensive equipment, construction sites are an easy target for people within the industry as well as intruders.
At MSP we feel to help reduce the problems, site supervisors and MSP operatives can work as a team. We believe with strict policies and security guide lines made very clear to everyone; this can change for the better.
MSP will give you protection 24 hours a day 365 days per year.
- Keep logs of all activities on site
- Liaise with suppliers and arrange to have deliveries of value, manned by operatives and securely locked away in a controlled area and monitored in an efficient way.
- Check identification of delivery persons. Receive deliveries and document all shortages/damages and relay immediately.
- Risk Assess site for potential “hot spot arrears” that could entice criminals or vandalism
- Make personal contact with surrounding properties with our 24 hour contact details, names, details of hours etc, should they see anything suspicious
- Keep site tidy (remove boxes etc) and free from potential fire risks. Tidy building debris and make sure unused building items are locked away.
- Set up security cameras on site if required
- Put up MSP Security and Builder details large information signs
- Contact local councils to request adequate lighting is available for the site
- Arrange additional security for “High Risk” items, key locks etc
